CAMBOIS GP AND DISPENSING SERVICES

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE BRANCH FOR CAMBOIS PATIENTS.

You may already be aware that our GP services at the Cambois surgery have had to reduce over the past few months due to COVID-19 and have moved to our main Gables site at Bedlington Station. We are now facing further challenges with the surgery and as a result are considering the permanent closure of the branch and relocation of the Cambois dispensary to our Bedlington site.

We realise you may have some concerns about the potential closure of the practice and relocation of the dispensary, so are now entering of period of engagement for 12 weeks, designed to give every local person the opportunity to share their views.

To make sure we hear from as many local people as possible, you can share your views in a number of ways:

  • Team Sessions – Wednesday 20th January at 11:00am and Sunday 24th January at 11am.  Please email us on gables.a84013@nhs.net if you wish to attend and we will forward an invitation.
  • Use the comments boxes located in both surgeries.
  • Write to us at the address above.

Once the engagement period has ended we will look at your feedback and consider our options going forward. We will let you know the results of all this, and what happens next, in the spring.

We hope you take this opportunity to share your views and we look forward to hearing from you.
