Attendance

Try to attend for your appointments on time.  Unfortunately, if you are late we may have to re-book your appointment.  Missed appointments are a problem at the practice, and waste appointments that could have been used by other patients in need.  Please remember, if you can’t attend your appointment or no longer need it, let us know to cancel it.

Please consider booking a DOUBLE appointment if you have more than one issue to discuss with a GP – this can help to ensure GPs surgeries do not over-run and keep waiting times down.

Telephones

We are especially busy between 8:30am- 10am and also between 1:30-2:30pm.  We would ask patients to avoid calling between these times for routine matters. Please call for Triage advice before 11am

Keep us up to date

Please ensure that the details we have about you are kept up to date including names, addresses and telephone numbers.  This is to ensure that we can contact you if we need to and that letters will reach the correct address.

Respect

We expect courtesy to staff at all times- remember they are working under doctors instructions.  We also ask that you treat our premises with respect.  We operate a Zero Tolerance Policy against threatening behaviour, verbal and physical abuse to anyone in the practice.

Feedback

We value your opinions and welcome any comments or suggestions that you may have.  You can provide these by writing to our Practice Manager, or we have a comments box in the waiting room.  You are also very welcome to join our Patient Participation Group – please speak to the Practice Manager for details.
